The Alzheimer's Research Trust is the UK's leading research charity for dementia. It funds world-class research to find ways to treat, cure or prevent Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, including vascular dementia, Lewy Body disease and fronto-temporal dementia.

As well as funding vital research, the Alzheimer's Research Trust provides free information on dementia and the treatments currently available in the UK.

There are 700,000 people with dementia in the UK today, a number forecast to double within a generation. The Alzheimer's Research Trust receives no government funding and relies on donations from individuals, charitable trusts and the corporate sector to carry out its crucial research.
